With the development of the market economy, industrial flour mill machines have gradually attracted attention. Many users, optimistic about the future of the flour milling industry, have begun investing in small flour milling equipment. A complete flour milling unit consists of multiple components, one of which is the hoist. So, how should a hoist be operated properly?
Safety Device Installation: In a flour mill plant, it is recommended that the hoist be equipped with a winch limiter and a travel limiter. The limiter automatically stops the pulley before it approaches the drum or pulley by a certain distance (e.g., 300mm).
Load Limitation and Inspection: The hoist in a flour processing plant should be equipped with a load indicator. When lifting or lowering, the weight should not exceed the specified load (e.g., 1 ton). After powering on the equipment, check the safety devices, such as the winch limiter, travel limiter, and interlock switch, to confirm their effectiveness and conduct a test lift.
Standardized Operating Procedures: Before lifting or lowering, sound a warning bell and then start the equipment. Passengers are prohibited from entering or exiting the hoist on flour milling equipment. After work is complete, place the hoist platform on the ground, disconnect the power supply, and close the upper and lower guardrails. Maintain a clean environment around the hoist.
